Customizable esp32/esp8266 case
I found a very interesting case on thingiverse for the esp8266 but unfortunately my need was a case for the esp32... It is quite comfortable to have a case especially during transport or when trying out various things.
The catch is that there are only stl files provided. Since I'm quite a fan of OpenSCAD I decided to reverse engineer the original project and create my own.
I imported the existing stl files in OpenSCAD and tried to match the dimensions. After the shape was completed it was just a matter of parametrizing the case with the esp32 dimensions.... and voilà.
Both my projects (esp8266 and esp32) can be found on thingivers. I also uploaded the CAD files so they can be further adapted and improved. Have fun!
